I did a phone
· screening with HR, followed by
· a phone interview with their AVP, and lastly,
· a final interview in person, which was downtown and a couple hours long.
They contacted me afterward asking for some additional writing clips, beyond what was in my portfolio, which I sent over.
Everything had seemed to go really well, and we had similar energies that seemed to click.
However, then they ghosted me. It was not only unprofessional, but disrespectful given the amount of time I spent interviewing with them, which spanned from November to February.
It didn't seem like a bad place, it just seemed unorganized and a bit young.
To my understanding based on their answer when I asked about what sort of annual metrics they use to gauge performance/success, I don't believe they give annual raises based on a performance review. This surprised me since it's something most companies do. Maybe—hopefully—i just misunderstood him.
