      La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Handy Distribution nel mese di feb 2011

      Colloquio

      The first interview was a one on one with the territory sales manager. Went well. Took a standard personality profile, as well as a skills (IQ) test. Called in for 2nd interview. Group interview (appreciated the heads up). Be prepared to be drilled for about 2 1/2 hours. It was somewhat ridiculous. They pretty much asked everything except for "how would you sell this or that if you were stranded on Mars or Pluto?" The questions by the end were "what would you do in this scenario; that scenario?" Needless to say, I answered every question they had and then some. But, I went in too strong and this intimidated them. Basically, it's a company full of good 'ol boys, and they are looking for "yes men" to fill their outside sales positions. If you are experienced and know how to get the job done in outside HVAC sales you would be better served to forget what you know and kiss up during the interview process. I was by far the most qualilfied of the group of their pool, but they aren't necessarily looking for qualified. Lastly, they said the territory sales manager makes the decision as to who will be hired, but that is certainly not true. The real people making the decision are his boss and another guy in HR. Both of whom know absolutely nothing about the industry. Kiss up to those two and you just might get a job (that and whatever you do, if you know more about sales than they do, don't tell them). Over-all, by far the worst interview process I have experienced in my entire career.
