I applied for the position at the end of November and about two weeks later was invited to complete an online questionnaire which included creating a video. Three weeks later I received an email inviting me to create another video for TikTok/Instagram, a carousel post for Instagram, and to write captions for both posts. One week after that, I received an email stating that they would get back to applicants within the next week...
20 days later I chased them up on their correspondence, and ONE MINUTE after I had sent the email to the hiring manager, I received an email that I had been BCC'd into stating that I, and I'm assuming everyone else that they had forgotten to inform, were unsuccessful.
I am used to completing creative tasks prior to an interview, however to complete two without even having a face to face interview is a little disheartening.
In the future, please remember to inform the applicants that they were unsuccessful, address it directly to them as a curtesy and also consider inviting people to an interview after one creative task....
