The first interview was at their office at Ubi. I found it odd that they asked me to turn up for an interview at 6:30pm after work hours. The interviewer was very nice, however did not seem to know the job requirements. After the 1st interview I was invited to a Skype interview with the Project director a couple of days later. After the interview they informed me that they would get back to me within two weeks.
Two days later I woke up shock as the admin at my previous company informed me that Hashmicro called. FYI, I usually only give my reference upon request and they did not request for any references. Instead they secretly called up my previous work place, spoke to the admin to confirm the duration I was working there, the position I was working as and my salary. It was shocking as the admin obviously would not know my income. I found this very unprofessional of them. Eventually I was offered the position, however turned it down as the offer was lower than my previous drawn.
A month later I decided to enquire whether the offer was still available as they were ok with my upcoming travel plans. I was told that they were in the process of applying for a visa for another candidate. However, if the visa fails they would like to re-offer me the position. A week later I received a message from them asking if I would still like the position as the candidate's visa was rejected. I replied the next day saying yes I would like to accept the offer. However, I did not receive a reply. I sent a few more messages following up but none of them went through. I am pretty sure they blocked me on WhatsApp.
I find them to be very unprofessional through these incidents and felt that they should have just told me if the offer is no longer available. I would advise anyone to avoid applying for this company as it is a waste of time.
