The interview process I will say was straightforward as far as steps goes. I think that the problem I have with the interview process is hiring managers not being completely knowledgable of the role they are hiring for. The questions that are asked were not exactly aligned to the job description. I also would say that conducting a layoff and still hiring is a bit concerning. How can you elaborate on the current climate of your culture when the workforce is unsure if they would be next on the chopping block. I would say that the organization needs to revisit the current set of requisitions and ensure that the role is essential.

I had a phone interview with a recruiter, an interview with the team I would be working with, and interview with more people from the department I would be a part of, then I had one last interview with the Vice President.
