Typical phone screening and then onsite visit. The final round the two weakest employees did the panel interview and these were touted as the best people on the project team. It was as if they did not know how to interview a candidate on their own. All their questions sounded as if they were copied verbatim from an Interviewing for Dummies book. They were also constantly fidgeting with their tablet and phones. I also picked up on a mean-girl vib. Sounds like over the past few years friends have been hiring friends. Also an arrogance that one team feels like they are the A-team and all other teams are sub-par. Hey senior leadership you better work on that one. Great talent is not easy to find in Tampa and you could easily lose the few good ones you have because of a few unprofessional employees creating a members only clique. It was an appealing company, several of the people I interviewed with were top of their craft but that whole arrogance, mean-girl clique turned me off and I turned down the offer
