The process started with a screening with a recruiter. From there I spoke with the hiring manager (AVP). In that interview I was told I’d be speaking with more stakeholders. Those 3 meetings (SVP, SVP, and VP) were set up shortly after that call. Roughly a week after those were concluded I was asked to meet with another stakeholder (Director). To round out the interview process I had a meeting with the COO. I really enjoyed every conversation I had with the team. The work done by Healthmap is important and meaningful so I was excited each time to hear from each stakeholder. Unfortunately, as the process drew on follow ups became a little harder to come by. The process had taken roughly 2.5 months. During the late stages I was offered another role by another company (not my first choice as I liked Healthmap’s mission.) I didn’t want to lose that opportunity though so I ended up taking that. I completely understand the need to find the right fit and I, admittedly had no healthcare experience. Ultimately, I concluded I wasn’t the right fit for them, but I enjoyed every conversation I had and learned a lot. I wish them the best of luck!
