Most stupid interview process The whole interview revolved around Tell me more about yourself/experience. The interview panel includes the person who is just leaving the company - and she doesn't seem interested at all - she didn't even explain the technical proficiency required for the role. Why can't they just ask directly what is required and ask me if I have experience in it or interest or whatever? simply a waste of time and energy - I was expecting the interviewers to have some extra time in case of overrun - Since it is a Sr role you should expect candidates to have experience, knowledge and expertise from a wide spectrum and if you just want the candidate to speak about everything in 30 mins without you rushing him citing there is no more time is pretty unfair IMO - I appreciate people are very very busy, in that case, like all the others - ask me directly about my experience, knowledge, expertise or interest in a certain concept that is required for the role. Instead, it was just to tell more about yourself - I was expecting the incumbent (she is leaving and interviewing to fill someone in her position) to clarify the role first and expect me to answer whether I like it what expertise I can bring and what interests me to learn and develop. Honestly; I still don't know what a day in life is at the role, and to ask it at the end there was no time on top of all this; they emailed me that I am missing one or more essential skills - seriously? you guys said this interview is to know each other better and you didn't have damn time to allow me to ask questions. Awful experience really!!
