After applying online a recruiter reached out to discuss the role, benefits and determine salary expectations. There were two one hour video conference interviews with employees in Berlin on separate days. Interviews were casual and non technical. A week after the second interview I reached out to the recruiter to see what the status of application was. The recruiter never got back to me. Other candidates have expressed similar experiences and I was disappointed at how unprofessional Hello Fresh behaved.

Applied through Glassdoor. First round of HR screening. Basic questions on background and current project. Second round, they sent the assignment which was to be completed in 5 days. It was open ended tests where one has to create a UI and API framework from scratch. Submitted the code through Github. Couple of days later got email saying they have decided to move forward with another candidate. No feedback provided. I thought I did a fair job for the tests, and since it was open ended tests I was hoping to get into next round to discuss why I did certain things in certain way. Tried to followup with HR on feedback but got no response. Very unprofessional.
