I had only a recruitment call with them. The interviewer's attitude was lackadaisical and impatient, like she just wanted to get it over with. She kept cutting me off. It was easily one of the first-stage interviews I have ever had. I wasn't surprised when I received a regret mail a few hours after and I wonder why we even bothered.

The interview process at HelloFresh was far more organized than at other Berlin companies. The recruiter I worked with, Owen, was extremely helpful throughout the process and made sure I knew just what to expect from each step. The process itself consisted of five rounds. The first was an introductory get-to-know-you interview with Owen. Round two was a take-home writing project that I had some time to turn in (I believe 3-5 days if I remember correctly). After passing the writing phase, I was invited to an interview with the hiring manager about my UX writing experience. Once I passed, I was invited to two more interview rounds, one with a product owner who assessed my stakeholder management skills and the last with the head of product design. Although five rounds seemed daunting at first, I was surprised by how efficient the process was. Every interviewer along the way was kind and open, but that's not to say the questions were always a piece of cake. I believe that each step prepared me for what to expect from the position itself and the company culture.
