My interview process was defined by confusion and a lack of professionalism from the start. I was scheduled for a 9:00 AM interview at the Marlin Dr. facility. I arrived on time, checked in via the lobby tablet, and waited for 45 minutes. With no one to greet me, I was eventually approached by an employee who informed me that I was at the wrong building, had been given the wrong interview time (it was 10:00 AM), and the wrong interviewer's name. I then drove to the N 2nd St. location. I was told the interviewer would come to meet me. I waited there for an additional 45 minutes, with the interviewer finally arriving at 10:30 AM. While I was waiting in the lobby, an HR employee stood directly in front of me for several minutes, having a casual conversation with a staffing agency representative. This demonstrated a complete lack of awareness and empathy for a candidate who had already been sent to the wrong location and was clearly waiting for an interview. The interview itself was a brief tour. The interviewer was unable to answer fundamental questions about the role, such as salary or third-shift availability. I was assured that HR would contact me with these answers. Despite this promise, I never heard from anyone at the company again. The lack of follow-up, combined with the extreme disorganization and unprofessional behavior from HR, made for a very negative experience.
