first phone call short and to the point but went well. Did not hear anything for weeks, then got an invite to come in. Met with multiple people and all went well. again waited weeks and got an offer substantially lower than current pay. When I mentioned this, the HR person said this is the max we can offer for this position... ummmmmmmmmmm, that's too bad. want quality people, pay commensurate wages to start with, don't spend so many weeks to hire someone, I was not impressed with this timing at all. 8 years of experience in tech support and you can't decide I'm qualified?

Was told one thing, ended up being something else entirely. Went from trouble shooting PCs, networks etc to walking clinics through how to read ledgers, figure out insurance adjustments and create accounts etc.

Received a call from the person who would be my manager. A small phone interview with some basic questions on computer support. Was asked how to print a document, why a document won't print and how you would go about troubleshooting that problem. Then scheduled an interview. On the day of the interview I went to the office and had an interview with a very nice lady from HR, asked what you knew about the company, why you want to work there. Pretty standard. After that I was told to wait in the lobby and two managers would interview me. When my name was called we went to a back room and they both took turns asking me questions. Some were technical and some were customer service oriented. Was asked what the boot process in windows is from power on to desktop. Pretty standard for technical support. After the interview I was told that after they had talked it over they would give me a call. About ten minutes after I left I received a call from one of the managers, and was offered the job, and told me to come back to the office when I could to fill out paperwork and for a drug screening which was to be done at a lab down the road.
