had an initial phone interview with a recruiter. They were very pleasant and easy to talk to. It was a rather informal thirty to forty-minute conversation discussing my experience and learning about the company and the position. About ten days later I received a phone call from the branch manager to have a brief discussion and set up a second interview face to face. It was a 45-minute interview and very informal and more of a conversation like the phone interview. The branch manager was nice, easy to talk to and professional. I expressed a strong interest in the position and a desire to move forward. They said they would be in touch about next steps either way and I could text any time if I had questions. A few days later we set up a third interview to include the district sales manager. Again, this meeting was rather informal and conversational, no awkward role playing or goofy questions. It lasted about an hour and I again expressed my strong interest in joining the company and asked about timelines for a decision and if I would be personally contacted either way. I was assured they would be in touch to either extend a formal job offer or to let me know they had chosen another candidate. I followed up with the branch manager about ten days later asking for an update. I was told they were almost done with the process and would be in touch asap. Two weeks passed still I hadn’t heard from anyone. I feel it’s important to note that during the process I had contacted the district sales manager three times. I sent a quick email prior to the third interview which would be our first time meeting, a thank you email after the third interview, and a text two weeks after the third interview. Not once did I receive a reply. That was a huge red flag and unprofessional. And I get it, people are busy; but who isn’t? They should have taken the 15-seconds required to shoot me a text response. So, three plus weeks after the third interview I decided to send one email asking for an update on the process and stating I was still very interested in the position. The recruiter emailed back within 24 hours thanking me for the follow-up, but they had decided to move in another direction even though they were impressed with my skill set. So, start to finish it was a nine-week process. I was glad I received the email response from the recruiter and I’m OK with not being chosen. But I honestly believe that had I not contacted them I never would have been contacted by them at all as promised. Over all it wasn’t a bad experience but negative and a big disappointment that they proved to be pretty much like any other large company. IE: failing to keep their word regarding communication and forgetting about you once they found what they were looking for.

Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
Mostly just asking about yourself not too many actual work related questions.
Recruiting. 2 interviews. Negotiations. Pee First with branch manager then district manager. They opened a new territory for me so once they found my resume they were excited to fill the spot.
