Cool and very friendly and Easy going. Why would someone not prepare for an interview and it’s not so nice to talk about it . Working on new projects and driving initiative

I applied in 2019, whole process from application to offer took 2 months. Most interviews were via phone calls, only 1 interview was face-to-face. 7 interviews in total, including 1st one by recruiter, followed by peers, other department heads, hiring manager, and senior management. Questions were mainly job or skills related. Offer was also sent via email. Too many interviews with repeated questions being asked, this could be also due to the matrix reporting structure. Interviewers were also not truthful during the interview process which I discovered later.
