Attended a job fair, they make you complete a job application in their computer, then wait in a conference room. After a while, you are called for a personal one-one interview with a Human Resources Representative. Although I was not selected, the experience was positive and everyone working in the job fair was very polite and nice.

The interview process was smooth. Everybody welcomed us with open arms and we got free breakfast and lunch so that was a bonus. They also taught us about Hilton and what they stand for what they represent in the culture that they bring.

• HR or a supervisor may do a quick phone interview to confirm:
• Availability (shifts, weekends, holidays)
• Previous cleaning or hospitality experience
• Work authorization and basic communication skills

In the interview, I first prepared myself by reviewing the job description and practicing answers to common questions. During the interview, I was asked questions about my work experience and how I solved certain challenges in previous projects. In the end, they gave me positive feedback about my approach and attitude, which made me feel very motivated.
