I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn from Venturi for this position. The interview process overall reflected poorly on the recruiter and on Hilton Hotels. The recruiter had NO information other than the job description to prepare for the interview, so I came in not having the slightest clue what to expect. I was asked a series of very difficult questions based on an Agile system I had never seen in my life and was expected to answer questions and essentially do work for a very grumpy manager in the interview. It was absolutely ridiculous. She was rude and made me feel like an idiot when I know I could have done a good job if more information had been communicated to the recruiter about the interview beforehand. To make matters worse, the recruiter completely ghosted me after the interview (obviously I didn't get the job) and didn't return my call but still likes to view my LinkedIn profile every now and then which is super weird. A simple email from him telling me I was not selected would have sufficed. Now I have a bad taste in my mouth about Hilton and Venturi. This was a very negative experience and a huge waste of my time.
