For a company that touted its culture as respectful, inclusive, and very focused on employee culture and satisfaction, I was disappointed with the lack of communication I received. I gave hours of my valuable time with the company and interviewers and wasn’t even given a rejection email or letter. I am assuming they decided to move on with another candidate for their decision, but I will never be considering Hitachi North america for any open positions as I continue my search and recommend that others steer clear as well. Future advice: learn to inform your candidates of rejection. I had several colleagues exploring your job listings that ultimately decided against applying because of your lack of communication with me.
