Got a phone call and email stating they had pulled my resume and wanted to meet asap. I drove in for an interview and met with their HR rep who spent most of the interview telling me about the history of the company (which is great information to have) and went on about the benefits, (we can have you and your husband and kids covered 100% on your starting day!) and how much he liked working there. He didn’t ask me questions. I had to try to jump in and tell him why I would actually be a great fit for this job. Not only did I have the skill set, but the industry was familiar as well. He said he had a great feeling about things and he would have me come back in two days to meet with a couple of higher ups and the colleague I would work with most closely. I sent a thank you email and reiterated my interest for the job and my confidence that I would be a great fit, along with a few more details of job duties I had preformed previously that were applicable to this specific position. A couple days later I called the woman who set up the interview and let her a voicemail. Same thing with the HR rep. Sent him another email asking if there were delays or if he still planned to have me come for a second interview. As he explicitly stated. Never hear back, via phone not email. It make me disappoint that they seemed actively interested, then didn’t have the courtesy to return a call. I would have been GREAT at that job.
