They told me I got the job after a 40 minute very informal interview. Proceeded to send me an official offer letter a week later, indicating they want me to start in 3 weeks time. I quit my job after I got the offer to take a small break in between. They kept delaying the date and saying they don't know when they could take me in. Secondly, there was a significant lack of transparency. Initially, I believed I was applying to Holborn Assets, but I later discovered that Trinity Capital Partners operates as a separate entity. This was not made clear at any point, and I believe the FSCS investigation involving Holborn Assets, along with the firm’s position, should have been disclosed upfront to avoid any confusion.
A month went by, they wanted to interview again which I was surprised as I already receiving an offer. and that 'interview' a month after my offer was equally as unprofessional. I would have ended up signing up with a start up firm I had never even heard of which Holborn Assets disguised as their part of their firm and did not bother disclosing their UK office has been closed since 2023 due to the FSCS investigation and is in default.
