It was a four-step interview process. The first interview was a 15 min screening call. The second interview was an hour chat with the hiring manager over zoom. It was pretty relaxed, we mostly got to know each other as people. The third was 30 mins with an AE and this one was odd. The AE didn't turn on their camera which was uncomfortable and they told me they were looking up questions to ask me during the interview. The entirety of the third interview was off-putting. The final interview with the VP of Sales lasted about 45 minutes and was pretty standard. They said they'd let me know the next day and if I didn't hear from them to email them and I never heard back even after I emailed them.

I got a response fairly quickly after applying online. The recruiter and I set up an appointment for our initial interview, and it was very pleasant. She was very friendly and courteous, and she seemed to think I’d be a great fit for the role. So we set up an interview with another person in the department. I anticipated a 30-minute interview for the second one, however after only two questions totaling 13 minutes, I received a very terse “Well, have a great rest of your day!” I asked what the next steps would be, and I was told there would be three to four more interviews — for a baseline sales position. When I asked when we could schedule the next interview, she pushed it off onto the recruiter and said I’d hear from her within a week. The following day I sent out my thank you emails and offered to clarify anything I didn’t articulate well. The day after that I received a standard “I'm afraid we've made the tough decision that we won’t be moving forward with your candidacy for this particular role. We'd love to stay in touch as Hologram continues to grow.” I received no feedback on why they felt this way.
