After a current employee referred me, I received an email to schedule an interview. (skipping the phone screening process) I made myself very available to ensure the meeting would be convenient for the hiring manager. A 45 min . interview was scheduled for the following week. The interview lasted about 15 mins. and the hiring manager was very distracted and also wasn't aware that I had been referred, nor was my resume read bc they weren't aware that I was currently unemployed.
