      Cold message from the CEO with a calendly link saying they were interested. Signed up for the next week, asked where to send my resume & portfolio, heard nothing. The interviewer was 10 min late, had not looked over my information, shared financial details of the company (raw data), the fact that the majority of their help comes from digital teams in Argentina and overseas in Asia and personal photos of his vacation. He asked no questions about how I could help the company. At the end of the interview he shared a Google Doc with "take home questions" which were completely spec work of upcoming projects. I'm a consultant and I would estimate this doc represented $5-20K of work. I wrote back before the questions were due to ask if I could share some work I've already done that spoke to my qualifications, heard nothing. Followed up a week later, nothing. Upon review, it looks like they've been "hiring for" this position for at least a few months. Especially given that they asked questions like "Share a list of reporters that you would target to pick us up. What would be your target KPIs?" I would warn any true professional away from this headache.

      We need a website redesign and potentially a re-brand. We would love your thoughts on how you would improve it. Our two existing websites for context: App.livehomeroom.com Livehomeroom.com We need to generate 50-75% more qualified leads for investors to purchase HomeRoom properties (qualified leads generally will have at least 100K in investable savings and are looking to purchase in the next 2 months). What is the approach and method you would use to acquire new leads? Comms / PR / SEO is very important for HomeRoom. We recently raised a seed round but have not shared it with the world yet. Write up a project plan and sample message to send to potential reporters to get them to write about us. Share a list of reporters that you would target to pick us up. What would be your target KPIs? Other Misc Tasks We have a conference where our CEO is presenting at. We want to use this event to bring in potential buyers for HomeRoom. What could we do at this event to drive up demand for investing in HomeRoom properties? We are an early stage startup so the goal is to not spend too much money. We need more email marketing on the sales side. Thoughts on how we can improve here?
