I applied for the job and heard nothing for several days, then was contacted by an internal recruiter on LinkedIn (unrelated to my application). We had a 35 minute conversation and she seemed very interested. She immediately sent me a LinkedIn connection request, and told me she'd be in touch before the end of the week to set up an in-person. That was the last I heard from her, despite multiple follow-up attempts on my end. I found it highly unprofessional.
