Very disappointing experience. I applied for the role and tried to communicate with the interviewer 5 times times before booking but absolutely nothing heard. After booking, the role provided on the booking was not the one I applied for (different country and level). I had to get an ex colleague who works for HubSpot to contact the recruiter internally and prompt him to reply to my emails (got a reply in 3 mins after that prompt). Call was arranged for 20-25 mins. In the end, call lasted for 35 but was told at the very end "Actually, full disclosure, we've actually filled this role pending acceptance of offer so I was conducting this purely to see if you were suitable for future roles". Interviewer was Singapore based and clearly not familiar with the geography of Australia. He implied I could drive to the Sydney office one or two times a week. - I live in Perth which clearly stated several times.
