One round. Both Mr. Walters and Mrs. Mackey will be present at the phone interview. Most of the questions are directed at the application materials submitted, particularly personal statement. Questions about writing sample are very specific and challenging, intended to make you think on the spot.

Over the phone interview. Scheduled a week in advance. Began with initial questions just about myself and how I approach learning political science. Then moved into defending my argument in the essay sample I submitted in my application. Ended with answering questions about my ability to participate in the program
