I went through 3 interviews, the first on was with the department cosmetics manager, the second one was with the recruiter of the cosmetic brand that I wanted to work for it and the last one was with the department manager again. It takes me 2 months to get the job offer.

I applied through the cosmetics company and the recruiter called me to chat. She then set up phone interview with a third party company, which was fairly dry and felt like filling out a form at the doctors office. I found it slightly discouraging. There were yes or no questions and some behavioural questions. Next I had an interview with the account executive from the cosmetics company and it was very interesting and engaging although purely behavioural questions to start. Next I had an interview with HR and the department manager at HBC which was similar to the previous one. I was able to negotiate a reasonable base pay, however the vacation time was not negotiable. I know what I am getting myself into but I hope to see HBC evolve their company culture.
