reached out to manager and got an interview, interviewer remarked how it was their first time interviewing and I told the manager i didn't know c++ i only knew C but they were ok with that but the interviewer just went ahead and asked for c++ questions anyway despite me clearly stating that I don't know the language. They have a standard interview question cheatsheet where anybody new can just read off from and call it a day.
