Had a very pleasant initial HR chat. Afterwards, I was scheduled for an hour long technical interview. What I didn't expect was a arrogant, rude and condescending interviewer. The interviewer started with questions regarding a technology that I had only non-professional experience in (clearly stated on my CV) and, even after I told him that I haven't used it quite a while, he continued to ask about it. Whenever I got a question wrong, didn't remember something, or speculated what the answer might be, he would visibly frown / cringe as if I was saying the most idiotic thing he heard all day, creating a very uncomfortable mood for really no good reason. Then he asked some superficial questions, specifically about a design pattern and some other technology, asked me how I felt about my AWS exam (got an Associate cert) then that's about it. Ended in 30 minutes. Then I was rejected for being too junior and not having enough AWS experience.
