I had a lot of questions during the interview, not just about Scala and Functional Programming, but also about Kafka and other topics I wasn’t entirely expecting. On top of that, the people conducting the interview came across as quite rude, which made the experience even more frustrating. It felt like they were more interested in testing how much I didn’t know rather than having a meaningful discussion about my skills and experience.
