1. Application consisting mainly of resume
2. Recruiter reaches out to schedule screening call
3. Pre-screening online questionnaire asking why ICF and desired salary
4. Screening call with recruiter
5. First interview with hiring manager
After all this, I got an unstructured 35 minute "interview" with the hiring manager who promised me that they would let me if I would be advancing to second round by the following week. A few days later I get a very encouraging email from recruiter saying "Hiring manager is still interested and I'll be sure to update you after tomorrow!" Three weeks later, nothing. No reply to my follow up email, this after the recruiter was VERY responsive via email/text/phone. Misleading, disingenuous and disrespectful. It's not okay to treat candidates like that and it reflects poorly on ICF.
