ICON requested a one-way recorded interview via HireVue. Not only does this format not allow for any back-and-forth (i.e., you, the candidate, can't ask questions about the position or company), HireVue software uses AI to determine your 'employability' for a position based on psychographic data such as your face, mannerisms, and tone of voice -- a task that AI technology is nowhere near equipped to do, and almost certainly introduces algorithmic bias.

It was around 30 to 40 minutes of session.In which most of the question were asked from the resume and about the job role and I was asked to justify about the skill which I had mentioned in the resume

Straight forward phone conversation followed by zoom meeting with several participants. Was given plenty of opportunity to ask questions and see if this was the right fit. No real surprises throughout the process.

The interview format was a one-on-one session, about 45 minutes to an hour, standard questions, informative regarding the actual position and what to expect day to day. A tour would have been nice but not offered.
