Applied online and received a phone call about a month later. If all goes well, the interviewer will tell you to expect a call from the manager of the IKEA you applied. In my case, I applied to the East Palo Alto IKEA in California. 28 days later, I haven't received a phone call for my 1:1 which is a shame as I was excited at the prospect of being part of the IKEA team.

They ask you general questions like "Why IKEA?" and situational examples to see evaluate how you would handle a customer or team-work.
The interview process was pretty smooth. The managers are okay, but the work environment is pretty mid. The questions were not too hard either. But they were not too easy either.

Open interview you fill out the paperwork. Then you wait a few minutes then someone comes to interview you. Then they will ask you questions so positive and happy good luck.

The hiring manager seemed very nice and interested and said she'd be calling me. A week later, I hadn't heard anything but I received 3 automated emails asking me to fill out a back ground check and I9. Turns out I was entered in the system accidentally by HR and he said someone would be calling me. Haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed.
