At the time, i met with a producer first who gave me a preliminary interview. I guess i did well, because they had me do a writing test - i was interviewing for a writing role after all. It was a tough test, but not unfair and it was very indicative of the work I'd half to do. After that, I met with the owner. We hit it off. I then came back in to have beers with the creative team to get to know them better. it was a good process. I felt like i knew all the people i needed to before i started.
