I had a phone screening interview that I thought went well, the HR person I spoke with was kind on the phone, but also very noticeably sick, which I didn't take as a good sign that they were working while ill. They said they'd speak with the hiring manager and get back to me the next day (Friday). I didn't hear back, and checked in the next week and didn't hear anything else. Felt very weird to be ghosted at that stage, especially after speaking to a person and being told I'd hear from them.
