The interview process was straightforward at first then extremely drawn out and strange. When I reached the final round, they offered me a role below the one I applied for stating it wouldn’t be fair to more experienced team members if I came on at the senior level. I actually knew the people on the team, and had adjacent experience. I think they were trying to save money but not sure. This was after 4 weeks of interviewing and 3 weeks of waiting for an answer. They were terrible with communication and never straightforward. “Soon” could mean a day or a month. Luckily, I had another offer so I was able to walk away.
