Was contacted by recruiter who put me in touch with internal hiring team. Had pleasant and professional e-mail correspondence with internal hiring team and a lengthy phone interview. Questions were not difficult, but very direct, asking about team management styles, my background, previous accomplishments, dealing with directing team and operations. After that got scheduled to speak with CIO directly over the phone. Very honest and direct discussion of company's IT challenges. CIO was pleasant, professional and very straight to the point. I was not a perfect fit and CIO mentioned that at the end of conversation explaining as to why (which I agreed with) . I appreciated the honest and direct nature of the CIO. Overall it was professional and direct process that took two weeks.
