Applied online and got a response about a week later through email asking me to join an interview. It was a group interview and there was about 10-15 people there. The assistant manager was the one who interviewed us. He interviewed us three by three. When I got to my group he only asked us three questions. He said it was only a screening to get to know us. After the interview ended he said he'd call the ones he's interested in for a second interview. I didn't receive a call so I wasn't picked

In N Out Burger was my first job and my first interview ever. The first interview you met with a manager and were interviewed in a group setting with 4-5 applicants sitting next to you. If chosen, you move on to a final interview with the head of the store or one of the other higher ups.
