When they invited me to go on-site for the second time, which was not the original plan, I said, “Please, be considered, I am working, and I am a father”, but they insisted and, despite the positive feedback, they selected someone else. Frustrating, mainly because, according to what they told me, “I raised the bar high, setting up a high benchmark.”
