Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Indeed (Tokyo) nel mese di ago 2016
Colloquio
3 online tests, 1 Skype call and 1 onsite interview in Tokyo (3 technical interviews of 50 minutes each).
First, I was asked to take part in 3 online tests. I can take any (maybe more than 1) of them and get the best result I can. If the result is good enough, move on. And I was invited to an Skype interview which barely rejected people except for those who speak really poor English. And I was invited to an onsite interview in Tokyo. Many candidates go to Tokyo in batches. And I took the interview with 8 other candidates in the same day.
Onsite interview consists of 3 technical interview, each last for 50 minutes, no long break in between. Each interview goes like, you and interviewer deliver self-introductions, solve the algorithm problems on the white board and Q&A time. The time distribution is like 10, 35, 5.
I will not elaborate the details of the interview questions. But I think these advice are really helpful.
1. Listen carefully, ask when the problem is ambiguous for you.
2. Pay attention to the details that interviewer says. They might be helpful.
3. Code fast and explain you idea clearly.
4. Ask good questions when you have chance.
And the questions are not so hard. But require you to be careful and optimize the memory and time efficiency to the limit. They ask the question almost in a large data scale but you need to come up with memory efficient and fast algorithm.

I have to fill this part, but I decide not to share the problem details. So I do share a really small question they asked in the process. What's the largest value of an int in C++?
Only did the 1st round. It was a medium Leetcode question. The interview was only for 30 min. Their compiler threw an unexpected error, which even the interviewers couldn't fix

Terrible scheduling. Difficult company to deal with. Will not contact again. Pay was below industry average for the location. Misleading job description. Benefits below standard. Hope everyone avoids this place

In total, there were five interviews. Three of them were more technical and the other two or more about your background. The technical interviews were pretty standard simple to medium Leetcode questions.

Domanda 1
I was asked about how we kept metrics in my previous job. When I told him that this was something we didn’t really do, he continued to harp on this question for the entirety of the interview, as if it was something that would be very difficult for me to learn.
