First round is a phone interview with a recruiter who calls to learn about your work history, why you are interested in working at Indeed and why you think you would be a good fit. Very easy.
Second round, you interview with three Sales Managers who basically give you a thumbs up or a thumbs down as to whether or not they would be interested in having you as part of their sales team. This is a more in depth interview but pretty standard. Each interview varies based on the interviewer. They all add their own style to the interview but it is generally about your work history, typical interview behavioral questions .. name a time you dealt with adversity etc.. then they want to see what you know about the sales industry and prove to them you know your stuff.
The third round is the toughest part which is pitching the Indeed platform to the sales manager you interviewed with in the second round as well as the director of sales for the entire office. You give them your pitch as if they were a prospective client and they ask you a series of questions as you go to make sure you know your stuff. I had a friend working for the company who set me up with the interview so he prepared me very well for the interview. They give you a sample case to go through so you can prepare.
After this presentation, you have a one on one with the director of sales and he makes the final decision as to whether you get the job or not.

The recruiter was based in Bangalore, India. At the start of the interview, he read through the job scope directly from his screen. He spoke very fast with a strong accent, which made it difficult for me to fully understand. After reviewing the role, he asked questions related to the sales process, motivation, strengths, sales targets, handling difficult customers, availability, and salary expectations. I asked for clarification more than once and answered the questions based on my understanding. The interview felt very transactional, with limited interaction beyond the scripted questions.
Just some feedback, I feel I would have been able to respond more effectively if the questions were shorter and more direct. Some of the questions were quite lengthy. I have no issue with different accents, but speaking slower and clearer pace of speech would have improved comprehension.

Fast paced but thorough. Was able to finish the process within 3-4 weeks. Fully remote and interviewed with several directors. The process felt personable and the directors took time to make sure that it was a good fit for me as well.
