I had a great experience interviewing with Indeed. A recruiter got in touch with me, and was very helpful throughout the process. I was given a great deal of information on how the interview will be structured and what the interviewers will be looking for. The interview process is the longest I have experienced (around 7-8 hours), but is manageable if split over two days. Instead of taking the phone screen, I went with the mini onsite route. This started with a data structures/ algos interview. I made good progress on the problem and the interviewers were very friendly and conversed with me to get to the optimal solution. This was followed by a coding exercise on the laptop, where I had 90 minutes to code another problem. I was able to produce a good chunk of code but was to get it running by the end of 90 minutes. They decided to move forth with the main onsite based on my overall performance. I scheduled the on site and had a very positive experience there as well. The onsite comprised of a white-boarding coding, system design, code review & behavioral interview. I had a positive experience in each of the interviews. The interviewers were friendly and each one gave me time towards the end for asking questions. The interview process was concluded with a closing interview. This was just 30 minutes for me to ask any questions I had about Indeed. I had a very positive experience, and left the building feeling satisfied. I heard back from the recruiter in a couple of days saying that they wanted to go ahead and make the offer. The overall process was smooth, fast and positive.
