I Applied for two positions and was called to interview for both within two weeks of each other. I responded yes when I was asked if I was interviewing for other roles (as both positions were in the same company). I was informed that the interview process for the second role would be placed on hold until it was decided if I would be extended an offer from the first role I applied too. After three rounds of interviews, I was informed that an offer would not be extended. When I inquired about the process for the other role, I was told that the decision was for both positions. Being that the roles were under different managers, I did find this to be odd. The role I interviewed for was also less technical than the one I was not allowed to be interviewed for. So I did not feel that the decision made sense since very few technical questions (if any) were asked. Everyone throughout the process was very welcoming and pleasurable to speak with. My recruiter was also very personable.
