The process included multiple interview rounds with recruiters and team members, followed by a final-round assignment/presentation. Communication early in the process was very fast, encouraging, and responsive. The interviewers themselves were kind and engaging throughout the conversations. However, after completing the final presentation and assignment, communication stopped and I did not receive a final update regarding the process. I understand hiring decisions and timelines can shift, but clearer follow-up after candidates invest significant time into assignments would improve the overall candidate experience.

I received a phone screening from a recruiter and was told how the team would definitely hire me. We scheduled a Google Hangout with the hiring team and they had me complete an assignment. Afterward, there was no clear communication. I had to constantly call/email the recruiter for the hiring status because it didn't add up that she sounded stoked for hiring me, and then she turns radio silent. When she did respond, she would always tell me she didn't know what's going on, she'll find out and I need to contact her at a later date. After a month, I gave up. From this hiring process, I get the feeling that this company lacks good communication and is incredibly unprofessional. Instead of playing games, why don't you just tell me I wasn't hired or that there wasn't enough in the budget to hire someone? It's not that hard to do since it's your job to tell someone they're hired or not.
