Sharing my recent experience with the recruitment process at Infosys Taguig. While I have high regard for your organization, there are several areas in the hiring journey that I believe require attention to improve the candidate experience.
Punctuality and Scheduling: My initial interview involved a significant wait time before being attended to (onsite). While I understand that high-volume recruitment can lead to delays, the primary purpose of a scheduled appointment is to manage time efficiently for both parties.
Onboarding Delays: After successfully passing the initial/final interviews, I was provided with a specific start date. However, this date was rescheduled multiple times. Consistency in these timelines is crucial for candidates who are managing their current employment or financial commitments.
Account Closure and Re-evaluation: Following the repeated delays, I was informed that the original account had closed and that I would need to undergo a new interview process for a different account. I complied and successfully passed this second set of interviews; however, it has now been over a week without any further updates or communication.
Communication Gap: Throughout this month-long process, there has been a lack of transparency regarding the reasons for the shifting dates or the status of my application. Candidates invest significant time and pass up other opportunities based on the commitment of a start date.
I believe that more proactive communication from the recruitment and hiring management teams would greatly benefit the process. Providing clear reasons for delays and maintaining regular touchpoints helps build trust and respect for the candidate’s time.
I hope this feedback is taken as a sincere effort to help refine your local hiring operations.

In the first assessment the ask 25 aptitude questions then verbal ability 20 then they say to write a email and foreign accent test after the test they do a interview process in which they ask about general questions regarding background experience and then about the rotational shift flexibility

Short teams call with recruiter, asked mostly standard stuff like my authorisation to work in the country, etc. Only real technical question was being asked to walk them through installing WhatsApp on their phone, similar to some queries you might get on the job.
