The interview process for the Systems Engineer (Trainee) role at Infosys was simple and smooth in my case. I directly had a single HR interview round without any technical or aptitude test. The interviewer mainly asked questions based on my resume, including my education, projects, and skills that I had mentioned. Most of the discussion focused on understanding my background, communication skills, willingness to learn, and interest in joining Infosys. I was also asked general HR questions like self-introduction, strengths and weaknesses, and career goals. The interview was conversational, lasted around 20–25 minutes, and overall it was a positive and comfortable experience as a student/fresher.

I entered the room , interviewer was calm 1. Was asked about diff b/w errors and exceptions. 2. Access modifiers 3. He looked at my essay which was asked in the assessment a day before.
