This was an F2F conducted on the weekend where many people called, and I was interviewed by 2 senior team members. They were asking about the .NET framework and the position I applied for as a .NET Core Developer. Asked basic questions about oops, MVC, basic SQL questions, and architecture and then rejected because of the role mismatch.

After the above rounds then Salary Discussion.
Somehow they did not offered a competitive salary.

Colloquio
I got call from HR, I appeared for a dotnet position at 7yoe. Overall interview process was easy which included the following events in the given order.
1. HR Screening - They asked my current compensation and expectations, will come back to this later.
2. Tech Interview - Panel asked me questions related to my projects, domain, tech stack and coding basics like SOLID, about 45 mins long
3. Manager Interview - This was rather short discussion about way of working and all the methodologies I am familiar with and way of estimations. About 15-20 mins long
4. Technical Assessment - This included about 80 questions divided in 6 sections to be completed within 60 minutes. like dotnet core, EF, SQL, Azure, Devops overall easy to medium difficulty
5. HR call - This is where it went downhill. They offered me compensation even way lower than my current compensation. Which bring me back to point 1 where they had already asked me my current and expected ctc. So what even is the thinking process of these companies ? I declined, will never be entertaining calls from Infosys or similar companies.
Funny thing is they sent me a mail at the end saying there appears to be a mismatch in competencies and expectations of the role. Which made me write this whole review.
