If a company claims to be part of Fortune 500, it should act like one. There was one 30-min screening interview with a Sr Director who had Program Management experience. Most of the questions were high-level, referring to the resume. But, the feedback I got was that I lacked breadth and depth and the relevant industry experience. This was an insult to 25+ years of experience. A Director-level candidate deserves to be interviewed by at least two or three people before any decision can be made. Here, the screener with no qualification to interview an Enterprise Architect made a decision by talking to me for no more than 30 mins. I pointed this issue out to the recruiter, and said that there was no basis to the feedback because I was not asked any in-depth questions. As for manufacturing industry experience, I did have it from my past jobs, but a negative assumption was made by the screener nevertheless. The whole process felt like a sham. Maybe, they had already decided on the person to make an offer to, and I was interviewed simply for the sake of documentation.
