Initially, very friendly phone experience. I spoke with an HR rep who was out of state. She was very friendly and informative about the company and their role in IT staffing.
I was initially told I would be interviewed for an "Account Manager" position. This seemed appealing from what the woman on the phone said because it involved taking clients out to happy hour, sporting events, etc., all on the expense on the company credit card.
At this point I was thinking this could be too good to be true. I was told that I could make six figures by the third year, I would be going to Mexico with the company all expenses paid, etc. I started asking questions, and I was encouraged to write all the questions down and ask them during the actual interview process.
Interview day came around and I was approached by two very young individuals. I came prepared in my suit, several resumes printed as requested, and even had my shoes shined. I found out very shortly that I was not in fact interviewing for the Account Manager position I was told, but I was actually going to be considered for a "Recruiter" position that I would work my way up from. Pyramid scheme anyone? I was told the process to be promoted could take anywhere from 3-9 months, and that it was entirely up to me how to determine this.
I investigated Glassdoor.com before the interview and read all of the good/bad reviews. I formulated my questions around the bad reviews that I found to be reasonable. Almost immediately after I began asking questions during the interview I was cut off and left with more questions than answers. This was even after I was told the interview process is "open and friendly to many inquiries".
Something smelled fishy about this company, read the reviews before you begin. I felt this had the makings of an Amway model from the beginning. Not saying that this company isn't for anyone, but make sure you know what you are getting into before you sign anything.

Small talk is the most importantly part of the interview process. They hire soley for personality and drive so if you show you can be natural with conversation that sets you apart.

The interview process was like any other interview process with a recruiter. I ended up backing out, but it seems like they want people who are excited about the company and the role.
