Long interview of 8 rounds. Rounds were on rtl design, processor architecture, validation skills, layout design skills, software skills, and also scripting skills. Moderate difficulty. Most of the interviewers were friendly.

Briefly asked questions about my interest and background, than asked one technical question. The questions about my background were a bit about hobbies and some questions about past projects I had completed, why I wanted to work at Intel. The technical question was to write a function in C that switches the order of bytes of a 32 bit input variable.

Interviewed for roughly 40 minutes. First portion was attributed to getting to know me, second portion was focused on a technical programming question. Overall, the interview was relatively relaxed and straightforward. Interviewer was open to hiring people with a variety of personalities. I would recommend reviewing C and Assembly problems to prepare.
