I had to buy a flight ticket to have the interview in their office. There I was supposed to meet only one lady, when suddenly another mysterious woman with a cold false smile appeared and said she wanted to interview me separately. After the first interview, the nice woman said she thought I was suitable for the position and asked me when I could start. I was very happy…till the moment when the strange woman came. I had another 1 more hour interview. Not to mention the fact that after this stressful situation, she wanted to make me even more nervous by asking another woman to come. I was actually praying not to have to stay there anymore. Despite this unpleasant situation, I answered all the questions and showed my communicative and happy personality. I was actually happy with the interview as I was able to overcome all the difficulties. Despite the stress, I was pretty confident I would get the position. Before leaving, I gave her some reference letters and smiling she promised she would contact me in 1-2 days. I remember having checked very very often my mails these 2 days, but unfortunately I received nothing. After 10 days, I decided to write an e-mail to the first lady who interviewed me and she replied by apologizing for the delay, saying that her colleague (the stressful woman) and she, had had differences of opinions, and so, for this reason, she did not know what to say. However, as the other woman insisted on not giving me the position, she unfortunately, had to refuse my application. However, she encouraged me to apply for another position. I was shocked. So, this woman, with whom I was supposed from the beginning to have the interview, wanted me for the position, but the second one not. I was completely disappointed. Later I found out from somebody who worked there, that the woman had had another special person to her, whom she wanted to hire for this internship position. I had never imagined that this would happen. I should have known from the beginning that this second strange lady knew somebody she wanted to hire. In this way I would not have spent so much money on the flight, and accommodation, all especially for them, as I was very confident I would get that internship, and trust me, the interview went very very well. I managed the stressful situation and gave good answers. Not to mention the fact that I refused another positions, being sure of this internship position at Intel, which was a big mistake. After an interview, you feel whether you have chances or not, and I felt I had. After these I was contacted by Intel for another positions and after I had accepted applying for them, I received no more reply. So, even though they are a top company, their system is not organized at all and some people are not so trustworthy as they pretend to be.
